Creating Registrations Between JSD Cloud Projects and Splunk Servers

Prerequisites

• Obtain administrator access to JSD.
• Install and configure the JSD add-on.
• Add Splunk server connections.

Procedure

1. Click the gear icon, and then click Applications.

2. Under Integrations, click RealTime Splunk Connector for JSD.

3. Click the Registrations tab.
4. Click the plus icon .

5. On the Add Registration page, configure the registration details. 

   Error rendering macro 'excerpt-include' : User 'null' does not have permission to view the page 'DOCS:_Registrations'.

   To select consecutive projects, press Shift and then click the first and the last project. To select non-consecutive projects, press Control (Windows) or Command (Mac) and then click the desired projects.

6. Click Save Registration.
7. Repeat steps 3 – 7 for every combination of projects and servers you want to add.
   

Next Steps

• Activate the registrations and associated Splunk server connections.
• (Optional) Send historical ticket data to Splunk.
