To send data from JIRA Service Desk (JSD) Jira to Splunk, you must activate the registrations Project Schemes and the associated Splunk server connections Scheme that you’ve configured. You can also deactivate registrations or connectionsschemes, as needed. |
Prerequisites
- Obtain administrator access to JSDJira.
- Install and configure the JSD Jira add-on.
Procedure
- Click the gear icon, and then click Applications.
Under Integrations, click RealTime Splunk Connector for JIRAJira.
- On the Splunk ServersSchemes tab, click the Activate toggle option in the ellipsis menu beside each Splunk server you want to activate.
The add-on checks the connection and displays the current status and last time synced. For more information, see Monitoring Splunk Connectivity to Jira Server.
Insert excerpt _Refresh _Refresh nopanel true - On the Registrations Project Schemes tab, click the Activate toggle option in the ellipsis menu beside each registration project scheme you want to activate.
The add-on will now send data to all activated Splunk server connections Schemes according to the registration settingsProject Schemes.
