- From the Alerts page, select an alert to open its detail page, and then use the Click to edit actions link.
Alternatively, run a search, and go to Save As > Alert. - At the bottom of the window, click Add Actions, and then select HipChat.
- Enter the notification details, and click Save.
The next time the search generates an alert, it will automatically create a notification in the HipChat room.
