Actions

Actions define how and when a ticket is created or updated based on the content of an email.

Data Points

Data points allow you to extract information from an incoming email as variables, which you can then use in handler actions. For key-value pairs, the key and the date or time format, if applicable. For regular expressions, the name, number of expected matches, regular expression, and the date or time format, if applicable.

Lookup Tables

Lookup tables allow you to upload a spreadsheet of information that is accessible to the SmartHandler for Mail add-on. You can then configure a SmartHandler to use this information when creating or updating a ticket.

SmartHandler

A SmartHandler is a configuration that defines how to parse email to a specific inbox and perform a specific set of actions based on that email content and inbox.
